Do I need to defrost them first?

No. Our canapés are delivered frozen and should stay frozen until you are ready to prepare them. Once your order arrives, place the boxes straight into your freezer and follow the preparation instructions when needed. Each box includes clear instructions and serving suggestions.

Planning ahead is an important part of hosting a successful event, and our frozen canapés are designed to make this preparation easier. Many items can be defrosted ahead of time in an airtight container in the fridge, which can be done with ease on the morning of your event.

Canapés that need baking are best cooked closer to serving time, but you can still prepare other elements in advance. Garnishes can be prepared earlier and stored in iced water to keep them fresh, sauces can be portioned into small serving dishes, and plates can be arranged ready for serving.

Every canapé comes with specific cooking and preparation instructions. Cooking times vary depending on the product, as every recipe has been carefully tested to achieve the best result. In addition to the written instructions, we also have step-by-step videos that you can follow to guide you through the preparation process.

Yes. Most varieties can be cooked together as they share the same recommended oven temperature. Cooking times may, however, vary slightly, so always check the instructions for each canapé box.

Once prepared, canapés should not be left out for more than four hours. After this time, they should be discarded for food safety and quality reasons.

We do not recommend reheating cooked leftovers. Any canapés that have been cooked from frozen should be discarded if not eaten. Any items that have been defrosted, but not cooked, can be kept chilled and used within 48 hours.

Yes. Air fryer instructions will be available soon.

This will depend on your guests and the style of your event. As a general guide, we recommend 4-6 canapés per person for a one-hour drinks reception, 6-8 per person for a two-hour event, and around 10 per person if canapés are replacing a meal.
